Hi all,

I have a situation in which I have a shared library object (.so). I want to
build an executable with static linkage. Is it possible to create a
statically linked executable with a shared object ?
I also have .la file which can be substituted with .so file.
Also is it possible to convert .so file to .a file ?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Mustafa Hussain.
