Hi,
I am running into a 32-bit compilation problem on a 64-bit architecture.
When I compile c program for 32-bits using gcc i.e., "gcc -m32", it
says:
/usr/include/gnu/stubs.h:7:27: error: gnu/stubs-32.h: No such file or
directory
The details of machine and gcc are provided below.
$ uname -a
Linux host 2.6.18-92.1.10.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jul 23 03:56:11 EDT 2008
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20071124 (Red Hat 4.1.2-42)
Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

I tried a gcc version of 4.2*, it has the same problem :
/usr/include/gnu/stubs.h:7:27: error: gnu/stubs-32.h: No such file or
directory
This is because /usr/bin/cc points to gcc.
Can someone help? BTW, I need "gcc -m32" for compiling jikes on x86_64.
Thanks in advance.
