I tried to build the latest snapshot but had the same failure as reported previously for gcc-4.2.2. I finally tried to build it with languages limited to c, c++, and fortran but to no avail. I'll be happy to send more info and to try to find the problem, but I need some hints as to where to look. It's possible it's my environment (see remarks on LD_LIBRARY_PATH), but I can't imagine what it is since, except for installing libmpfr and a few local programs, I use yum for system and development installation and updates. And I keep my other hosts populated with the same local programs (and the build for the latest gcc goes fine). Thanks. -Tom Tom Browder Niceville, Florida USA
