Hi,
I am using Fedora Core 4 Operating system a with as a default compiler has
gcc 4.0.0.
I am trying to install the gcc 2.95.3 compliper in order to install later on
the network simulator 2.26.
The problem occours when I type the "make bootstrap" or the "make install"
command after showing that everything goes fine, it prints the following
errors:
tdstrbufs.cc
/usr/local/gcc-2.95.3_src/libio/stdstrbufs.cc:67: `LLL_LOCK_INITIALIZER' was
not declared in this scope
/usr/local/gcc-2.95.3_src/libio/stdstrbufs.cc:68: `LLL_LOCK_INITIALIZER' was
not declared in this scope
/usr/local/gcc-2.95.3_src/libio/stdstrbufs.cc:69: `LLL_LOCK_INITIALIZER' was
not declared in this scope
make[2]: *** [stdstrbufs.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/i686-pc-linux-gnu/libio'
make[1]: *** [all-target-libio] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
And these happens after patching the gcc 2.95.3 with the following patches:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/5.1/gcc-2.95.3-2.patch
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/5.1/gcc-2.95.3-no-fixinc.patch
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/5.1/gcc-2.95.3-returntype-fix.patch
Does anyone has any idea why this is happening?
Thank you in advance.
