I've never used the g77 compiler before. I have a program that I can compile with absoft fortran. I need to compile with g77 on a linux system. I can't figure out how to get the exe. I tried f77 -O band1105.f and get an a.out file I tried f77 -o band.exe band1105.f and get band.exe but it doesn't run. Help! What are the command lines I need to generate an executable? Thanks.
