hello, I am
 trying to install GCC version 3.3, but keep running into this error. I am
 running on Solaris 2.6 with a current gcc version 2.8.1. I have tried making
the
 objdir under the main srcdir and in a separate location but keep running across
 this error:

 "INSTALL_SCRIPT=/bin/sh

 "PICFLAG="  "RANLIB=true"  "DESTDIR=" DO=all multi-do

 I am not very familiar with UNIX or the processes of building a compiler so any
 help would be greatly appreciated.

 Thank you,
 Ellen Shlossberg
