Hi Satya, If you are using a Configuration management system like clearcase, you can use clearmake in parallel mode use multiple machines for building your software. Refer to Rational's clearcase documentation for more details. regards, Ravi ************************************************************* B.Ravi Kumar email: ravikb@xxxxxxxxxxxx Staff Engineer, EDA Group phone: +91-80-5598615 Motorola India Electronics Ltd extn:2045 (O) Ulsoor Road +91-80-5210054 (R) Bangalore - 560042 ************************************************************* -----Original Message----- From: Satya [mailto:satyag@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 8:00 PM To: gcc-help@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: build time Hi, I have a serious problem. In my project there are around 500 libraries. if i use a powerful machine to build the whole software it takes around 15 hours to build. I wonder if there is any solution for this. Is there any GNU build system which schedules jobs on several machines and does some mgmt? Any ideas will help me a lot. Regards Cutti __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
