Summary: GAIM "ridiculously slow," fix is "ready to go?"

Initial Comment:
GAIM beta 4 is ridiculously slow on my windows machine,
as hinted at by Sean Egan's recent post. He said there
was a fix ready to go, but it hasn't been implemented yet.

Is there a workaround in the meantime?

Replacing your libgaim.dll with this one is a workaround:
