In my understanding, 4096 bytes only applies to the AIM/OSCAR protocol, doesn't it? It's a bit annoying that the limit for a 48x48 image file is applied to a significantly larger image. I apologize in advance if there was already a discussion about this, especially if it has already been settled. I couldn't find anything relevant by searching. However, in reality, this is not an important topic. I was also not sure whether to put this in MSN or GTK-UI, or even feature requests at all. Some clarity would be appreciated. Thank you for your time! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Stu Tomlinson (nosnilmot) Date: 2006-01-05 16:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=309779 yes, the 4096 bytes limitation only applies to AIM/OSCAR, the 48x48 restriction also only applies to AIM/OSCAR For both MSN and Yahoo! you can have anything up to 96x96, and if you provide something larger Gaim will scale it down for you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1193484&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
