Summary: preferences after upgrade

Initial Comment:
I recently upgraded to a new version of gaim. However,
all of my preferences, status menu, logs, are not
accessible from the new version. All of the
information is present in the .gaim folder in my
Application Data (there are xml files for all of the
relevant settings and a proper folder of log data).
How can I import the data and/or point gaim to the
right spot to read it?

what was your previous version? gaim still uses the same
directory and xml files for its preferences and account
information, unless you override that with the GAIMHOME
environment variable or the -c runtime option.
