When it loads completely, it takes a long time (30 sec to 1 minute) 2. It usually doesn't load completely. It gets registered in the task manager, but does not pop-up a task window. 3. Shutting down my laptop and starting it up again, sometimes makes gaim work correctly. I've got the most current patches available for win98 as possible. Something is significantly different between this new version and the previous one. When I activate Gaim, it registers with the task manager but no window or other access to gaim is present. When I check the task manager , it tells me gaim is not responding. Going back to the 1.3 version.
