Category: win32 Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Ben Barker (dbrb2) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: Gaim running, but innacessible Initial Comment: Hi, I've been running Gaim for a while now on windows XP. Recently, it has dissapeared. It is still in the running processes list, but not in the system tray. I have tried disabling virus scanner, using an older release, using a newer release... No effect. I can't think what can have changed, svae that at the same time it stopped working I started using a new work LAN, but I don't see whya that should have any effect. Even unplugges from the network, the program loads, appears in the process list, but nowhere else... any ideas? This involved shrinking the windows partition, copying all data to a data partition, and installing linux on a third. All off a sudden, gaim works. I don't know what I did, but it seems that my mucking with partitions undid it :-) Cheers, Ben ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1251333&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Gaim-support mailing list Gaim-support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gaim-support
