Category: win32 Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Vrynex (vrynex) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: MSN won't connect Initial Comment: Only rexwntly did this start, and only on this computer, this doesn't not happen on another computer with similar software. My problem is that while the MSN account is logging in, and gets to the "Getting cookie" part, it stops. I don't know why this is happening. The only firewall software I have is McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, build 6.1.6144. Any thoughts? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Date: 2005-07-11 21:36 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=325843 Since there is nothing to go by to determine why this was happening and it is apparently no longer an issue, i'm closing this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Vrynex (vrynex) Date: 2005-07-10 22:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1056571 I have fixed this problem on my own. I completely uninstalled Gaim, including the files in the Document and Settings folder for Gaim, and then re-installed with the current version. For some reason, it now works fine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1215034&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the 'Do More With Dual!' webinar happening July 14 at 8am PDT/11am EDT.
