Given that it doesn’t give you the features tags, what is the point of
that, exactly?
It serves two roles:
1. For clients to populate their search pattern with user-requested font features, which will then carry to matched patterns via RenderPrepare mechanism,
2. For configuration to be able to enable font features as needed.
