I mentioned this earlier today on #freedesktop irc and Daniel fixed the
configuration so that https://fontconfig.org/ redirects properly now at the
top level.
For downloads, https://www.freedesktop.org/software/fontconfig/release/ works,
but I don't know why https://fontconfig.org/release is not redirecting properly
to that.

Because fontconfig.org is an alias to freedesktop.org. please use
http://fontconfig.org/release instead or file a bug against

if you like. unfortunately I don't have an access to fix that issue.

Dear folks,
I was trying to build fontconfig, but when opening
https://fontconfig.org/release , the server returns 404 error.
Besides, wget reports ssl certificate error for me, either on Windows

Could anyone have a look?
Thanks a lot for the great work on fontconfig!
