How many systems are you talking about? Why not just put a list
rearranged to your liking in 50-user.conf or 51-local.conf? Maybe add
Droid Sans Mono, which I put at the top of my lists.
I'm not talking about myself and my system but many other non-english
locale users (including my fellow Vietnamese) who have to suffer Courier
New as the default monospace font.
