I have a master virtual machine and I want copy it to other systems and deploy it. I dont want to copy the whole image as it is too big. What are my options here?

You can use *all* the normal Linux/unix tools, Xen doesn't create any restrictions there.
So feel free to dd the volume to another volume, or use snapshots, or thinprov-snapshots, or whatever you want.
