Hi every one:
I am a new guy here, and I have a idea for xen automaticaly
live migration. I have two computers installed domain0 and some xen virtual
machines, now it can do live migration manually, and I want to develop a
tool to do migration automatically based on the cpu occupancy. This tool
includes one major daemon, one module for collect the information of two
computers, another module for creating a rule for determine whether the
migration is taken place, and a configuration file.
The problem is what the rule is reasonable. I have a raw
idea:when the cpu occupance of computer A is more than 50% or
60%, and the other one B is 20% less than A, the migration occurs and
takes one or more virtul machine from A to B, to get a balance cpu
occupance between these two computers.
welcom any discussion or suggestion!
Thanks!
