Netbsd-Install as DomU: partial success / Question

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey,

i still try to get netbsd running as domU under fc5. I got now a
install-kernel, that boots somehow, until i get a error-message, saying
that there is a kernel symbols error.

as i already get the bootmessage from netbsd, i think it could also do
something with the root-device.

my idea is to set root = "/dev/wd0" (i dunno, if this could be a
root-device for netbsd, but it is an example)

could this be worth trying?

Thanks for feedback.
Roger

p.s. this is also posted on a netbsd-mailing list

p.s.p.s: did somebody succeed installing any other bsd-style-unix under
xen with FC5 as dom0? manuals online?

Thanks for p.s.p.s :-)
