I think I've tracked this issue down to bug:

Kernel version is

kernel-2.6.17-1.2174_FC5xen (or xen0)

xen version is

xen-3.0.2-3.FC5

I'll try building netloop, netbk and blkbk statically into the kernel,
rather than as modules and see if that fixes it.

As it sits, it doesn't appear the current kernel/xen rpms work together. I
get both the "no veth0" error or the kernel panic, depending on whether
its the PAE kernel or not.

Does this sound like the same issue to you?
