By creating and logging on to a new user, the line appears. The difference is that in my normal user login, I had a pretty much duplicative set of autostart commands in ~/.config/autostart and /etc/xdg/autostart. Deleting all but my unique .desktop files in ~/.config/autostart and re-logging in showed the missing line. How about them apples?!
