Systemd still does not start network for me at boot. After hand start
the status is:
systemctl status network.service
network.service - LSB: Bring up/down networking
Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network)
Active: failed since Tue, 29 Mar 2011 18:36:51 +0200; 21min ago
Process: 2024 ExecStart=/etc/rc.d/init.d/network start
(code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
CGroup: name=systemd:/system/network.service
└ 2224 /sbin/dhclient -H base -1 -q -cf
/etc/dhcp/dhclient-eth0.conf -lf /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient-eth0.leases
-pf /var/run/dhclient-..
Systemd still ignores runlevel settings in inittab or by command (init
3,5).
I'd love to know how to trace the systemd hooks in init.d scripts. It is
not obvious to me at first sight how it should work.
Up to now, Gnome3 suffered in "nomodeset" mode by font corruption
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679579
as of today it falls into fallback mode with nomodeset. Without nomodeset
it fails completely - only background is displayed.
There were some errors about main.js printed in console after startx. I
fixed that by installing a complete "gnome-desktop" group, but gnome-shell
still does not work. Not sure what to do more.
