The dkms_autoinstall does not work its magic (does not build/install) at bootup. I've tried re enabling it, but it still does not work. I can execute the dkms [build|install] commands by hand and the packages build, but not at boot time, or after a new kernel is installed. It is interesting in that it used to work from looking at the boot logs it fires, but nothing happens: [bpm]$ sudo grep -Ri dkms /var/log/boot.log* /var/log/boot.log:Starting LSB: Automatically install DKMS modules for new kernels... /var/log/boot.log-20110227:Running DKMS auto installation service for kernel 2.6.38-0.rc5.git7.1.fc15.x86_64 /var/log/boot.log-20110306:Running DKMS auto installation service for kernel 2.6.38-0.rc6.git6.1.fc15.x86_64 /var/log/boot.log-20110313:Running DKMS auto installation service for kernel 2.6.38-0.rc8.git0.1.fc15.x86_64 /var/log/boot.log-20110320:Starting LSB: Automatically install DKMS modules for new kernels... but nothing since the install of Mar 16 06:59:50 Installed: kernel-2.6.38-1.fc15.x86_64 Any ideas where to start looking? -- Brian Millett - [ Alexander and Kyle (re: Kosh), "The Gathering"] "I can't see him through this encounter suit."
