Somebody has been successful in playing music cd's in F15? If I insert
such a cd in the drive, getting a lot of kernel error messages. Is this
a known issue, or should I file a BZ?

Is this CD one of the delibrately broken ones? There was a period of time
that labels were making CDs that delibrately had errors on them that caused
problems for computers that didn't handle the errors as gracefully as
standalone players.

Bruno,

problem seems to be solved: after running "yum update" (updating glib2 beside others) and rebooting, the CD plays.

Kind regards
