I didn't get the problem of ** could not write bytes: broken pipe like I had been over the last week! Good job and thank you for fixing this one... I did get a new one today: ** could not connect to tty, dropping to debug shell... from there, I got a dracut prompt... Is there a possible workaround that I can execute from the debug shell to fix this error until a fix can be assessed? I appreciate the help that this list always seems to give in abundance!!! Sincerely yours, Rob G. Healey -----Inline Attachment Follows----- -- I just got bit by the same bug :(, I see udev /??? 10 and the desktop does not load, I can go back to F14 kernel, newer one does not work :( kernel-2.6.36-1.fc15.x86_64 [olivares@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/fedora-release Fedora release 15 (Rawhide) I am sending this on previous kernel. Looks like selinux was at it too, I have two desktops running Fedora 14 beta updated and I Have switched to rawhide and I am encountering the issue too :( I will try to send segfault with nouveau on other machine if I can.
