Greetings folks, Just wanted to summarize how testing held up for the third (and final) pre-alpha rawhide acceptance test run of Fedora 14 (see task#8 [1]). Thanks to anaconda-devel and release engineering, install images were available a day later than scheduled on Jul 23 (see rel-eng ticket#3873). An updated glibc seems to have introduced the slight delay. The rawhide acceptance test plan [2] was executed using AutoQA. The rawhide-testing images provided are suitable as a 'last known good' set of install images. Test results are available at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_14_Pre-Alpha_Rawhide_Acceptance_Test_3. The following bugs were encountered: * RHBZ #618537 - systemd-sysvinit should provide sysvinit-userspace - since upstart-sysvinit conflicts NOTE: The images and repos do not include the finalized python-2.7 and systemd changes. So while testing did help ensure no horrendous installer blockers were present, there is potential for disruption until Fedora 14 is branched from rawhide. Stay tuned ... Adam Williamson is working closely with David Malcolm and release engineering to identify and resolve issues that might delay the Fedora 14 Alpha test compose.
