#78: Request for Mentor ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- Reporter: robatino | Owner: adamwill Type: proventester request | Status: assigned Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Proventester Mentor Request | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- Comment (by robatino): I've read the proven tester instructions and believe I understand them, except for some confusion on how to know which packages are critical path. I can use yum groupinfo on each of the critical path package groups listed on the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Critical_path_package Critical_path_package] page, but that page also contains non-working links to daily generated package lists. The [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester Proven_tester] page also implies that critical path packages are indicated in their descriptions ("Pay particular attention to updates whose description notes that they are critical path updates. "), but while using fedora-easy-karma, I saw no packages described as such. Anyway, I have both F12 and F13 x86_64 installed as VirtualBox guests, and each has updates-testing enabled. I've already run through fedora-easy- karma on each, but only felt qualified to chip in on about 2 bugs so far (either unfamiliarity with the package, or not having already experienced a bug which only affected some users of the old version). Of course I've also used the Bodhi web interface previously. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/78#comment:3> Fedora QA <http://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa> Fedora Quality Assurance -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
