I also have to have /etc/sysconfig/desktop with: PREFERRED=startlxde AND ~/.Xclients-default with: WM=startlxde or LXDE does not work but ONLY changing ~/.Xclients-default to: WM="gnome-session" causes GNOME to be used?!
