It's surprising to me that the > listing shows nothing. Whoops, right. So the perms aren't being set right. In F11 this is done by the HAL acl support. This has moved to udev-extras for Fedora 12, and that's likely what's not working. Might be related to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506128, but that's marked as fixed.
