I updated yesterday (after not having updated for a few days) and X stopped working. I updated again tonight, and it's fine. So, if you asked me yesterday, I would have said no (on my hardware--judging from the forums, it seemed to mostly hit onboard Intel cards), but today, I'd say, sure, why not?
