Anaconda turn of monitor on Radeon QD 7200 during install

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Don't know if the system will boot yet, doing a VNC install,

BUT

The loader runs and gets to starting anaconda-init, at which point the monitor *turns off*
Literally, the monitor switches off and displayes it's no signal message.

I have nomodeset on the boot command line in GRUB, soo I suspect that anaconda or the kernel are ignoring the nomodeset request.

Video card is a Radeon QD 7200 R100
The previous kernel didn't boot after freezing on DRM activation. Which was a regression from the .102 kernel.
