Sadly just because the CPU supports it, isn't enough. There's a history
of vendors being... incompetent, shall we say, with having proper BIOS
support for things, VT included.

When in doubt, google should almost certainly be able to find /someone/
else who has tried it on a given laptop model. It's a shame most vendors
don't have an equivalent to thinkwiki.
