A lot of motherboards do not support memory over 4 Gb. Check that your motherboard supports 8 Gb of memory and also check the BIOS options. Does your system BIOS "see" 8 Gb? If not, and there are no options for remapping memory, you might need to replace your motherboard. Bob Cochran Lawrence E.
