I had a suggestion for the Bugzappers process, which was illustrated by a problem that happened today and was discussed in IRC. See the response from the, um, fine, upstanding citizen who filed this report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=471433 Particularly comment #2: "What I would expect from a package mantainer who you are, is either:" "Don't expect users to do your package maintainer job." Clearly the guy's...er...not possessed of an entirely sunny disposition, but he's also working on the belief that Jon's the maintainer. Which he isn't. My suggestion is that there be a standard signature for Bugzappers, used whenever we post on Bugzilla. It could look something like this: --- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers The greasemonkey scripts for Bugzappers could automatically add it, so we didn't have to worry about it. It would make clear that the Bugzappers are a) volunteers and b) not maintainers, so they wouldn't have to take this kind of crap, and it links to the Wiki so people can see what Bugzappers do.
