What would be the upstream standpoint on this? > There are no winners, Rahul. Personally I've been using both Fedora and Mandriva, and I can see advantages in both approaches. I'm not asking for anything to change, just some guidance that make sure that we understand what is and what is not a Fedora issue. At the moment I tend to base my judgement on whether I can see the problem in both my distros, and preferably get a *buntu user to say that they also see the problem. If I can't get some confirmation I'm inclined to think that it's probably Fedora. Anne
