It got me curious enough to try a new fresh install to see what happens if you don't boot into Gnome. Which brought up a new issue, NFS installs, but that's for my next post. :) (I don't have the answer yet, since I'm trying to get this done before we leave for the dinner--which reminds me, HAPPY HOLIDAYS to those of you who celebrate.
