[antonio@acerF10 ~]$ smbclient -L //Celeron
Enter antonio's password: xxxxxxxx
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_REQUEST_NOT_ACCEPTED
[antonio@acerF10 ~]$

Now you start _saying_ something instead of just complaining.

So what you see is that first you _could_ issue "smbclient -L //Celeron" and
enter password, and suddenly you can't issue exactly the same command?

Here both "smbclient -L //server" and "smbclient //server/share" works just
fine.
in the first message no password was issued, and this is an exact procedure....

I don't understand. I can see that in the first case you got the "Enter antonio's password:" prompt. But you didn't enter a password? You just pressed enter and it worked?

In the second case you entered a password and it didn't work?

Do you have access to a mixed environment Fedora/Windows XP and do you
have F10 fully updated??

Yes.
