You are right! My bad. In my eagerness to get the latest Intel 2.5.0 graphic driver from koji (finally I can use kwin compositing, again!), I accidentally installed the kernel from koji, too. When I went back to the latest released kernel-2.6.27.3-30.rc1.fc10.i686, all was back to normal.
