I just updated to kernel-2.6.25.4-10.fc8 in a Dell 5150. I use Crossover to run Office XP - and up till now Excel XP has been fine. As soon as I booted to the new kernel and opened two excel files, and then did a copy followed by "paste special" - on hitting "enter" the entire machine crashed. Not just Office, or Crossover or X - but the new kernel crashed. I could not use ctrl-alt-backspace, nor could I use alt-sysrq-b - This is dreadful. I rebooted and tried the same again - the kernel crashed at the same point. On reverting to the previous kernel-2.6.24.7-92.fc8 - all is well again. Anyone else seeing nasty things happening with the new kernel in F8? -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
