If you have any sound lines indexes or aliases in modprobe.conf
remove them or comment them out
then run pavucontrol ( yum install if you dont have it ) and set
the default in indput devices
JB
You have two input devices
1. Monitor Source of ALSA PCM on front:0 (VT1708 Analog) via DMA
2. ALSA PCM on front:0 (VT1708 Analog via DMA
Which one needs to be be set "default" ??
Try both start with 2 option :)
JB,,,
No. 2 option is set to "default" , but no sound.
Why doesn't the PCM setting show in Alsamixer ?
And you have tried the other one right?
JB,,
No. 1 option didn't make any difference either, No sound.
Why isn't there a PCM settings/adj in alsamixer?
