Where do I go from here?

Here is a UK mirror with all of the F9 beta rpm packages.
http://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/distributions/fedora/linux/releases/test/9-Beta/Fedora/i386/os/Packages/

Using your browser, go to the site and find the package you want. Right click and select save as, saving it to a location on your PC. Then burn it to a CD and carry it over to the laptop and install it using rpm -Uvh rpmname as root.

That should do it.
