Dear all, I have run the updates on this machine, the fedora 7 machine updated to rawhide. I cannot add users and still cannot add users to troubleshoot errors. [root@localhost ~]# system-config-users The program 'system-config-users.py' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadName (named color or font does not exist)'. (Details: serial 91 error_code 15 request_code 45 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) [root@localhost ~]# rpm -qa coreutils coreutils-6.10-17.fc9.i386 [root@localhost ~]# I updated to today's rawhide report, and I get the following error message *** removed to save space **** (94/94): upstart-0.3.9-15 100% |=========================| 243 kB 00:00 Running rpm_check_debug Running Transaction Test Finished Transaction Test Transaction Check Error: file /usr/sbin/vipw from install of shadow-utils-4.1.1-1.fc9.i386 conflicts with file from package util-linux-2.13-0.54.1.fc7.i386 file /usr/share/man/man8/vipw.8.gz from install of shadow-utils-4.1.1-1.fc9.i386 conflicts with file from package util-linux-2.13-0.54.1.fc7.i386 Error Summary ------------- So I ran it with [root@localhost ~]# ./nodep and got most of the updates.
