Correct.
The default login is to gnome,
and I'm a kde user, so I immediately logged out to change session. At that
point I got a blank black screen. Neither mouse nor keyboard activity has
any effect. Ctr-Alt-Backspace doesn't work, and Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't
work.
Login to GNOME and do a yum update. IIRC this issue was fixed in one of
the updates.
