-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The i386 images directory being populated for the first time in many days, I took the opportunity to do an installation of rawhide on my testbed machine. It was generally successful. There are a few expected glitches, but the system installed and runs successfully. Kudos to the anaconda team for getting things working for i386. (x86_64 probably works too!) Firstboot now at least generates a non-root user. GDM of today actually displays some users to select from. The shutdown/restart buttons seem to work. Yum has some interesting changes in terms of the repositories. I make a mistake in the pirut repository editor and it propagated to yum itself until I went back into pirut and fixed the problem. If yum is looking somewhere besides /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo, I'd like to know where it is looking so that silly errors don't lock me up completely. [I used $basearch in pirut's editor and it couldn't resolve "$basearch". Pirut apparently wants "i386" instead.] May I suggest that system-config-firewall be re-grouped so that it is a base install package? Well done to the developers in advance of the beta freeze. - -- G.Wolfe Woodbury -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBR8Xufy1+lL6/CF63AQJrwgP+NtKtnCnwHw/rIuae5ZdTcaisaU+LygRX dLg5lG55FKII6nNIFLr/6hp3sJxeZ+6/jyhz5U4IR6mxhV0U7RbS46C/2Imo72QW xu5FfZ0k8fUiuScjwLwAUhlPtIpd1iXEHEheizidBzQwvRNp6C0fkurNrhPT6E3G DK9TdQCRmEE= =3tDC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
