and when I open System-Administration-keyborad is shown as Italian but
it work as US. If I click again on It I get it working in Italian,
(but arrow paddle is not working!!)
I cannot switch to console with ctl-alt-Fn after some update within
GNOME. I guess special keys are messed up right now.
Have you tried resetting your keyboard layout as well? Maybe its just gotten
the map confused and a reset would make the specials work again.
