My GNOME sounds seem to be missing in the latest Rawhide (and have
been for a while). I pull up the GNOME Control Center. Play system
sounds is checked. My sound preferences are set to "Clink" when I click
on a command button. Clicking on the the Play button plays the sound.
However, selecting an icon on the panel produces no sound at all.
