My GNOME sounds seem to be missing in the latest Rawhide (and have been for a while). I pull up the GNOME Control Center. Play system sounds is checked. My sound preferences are set to "Clink" when I click on a command button. Clicking on the the Play button plays the sound. However, selecting an icon on the panel produces no sound at all. FWIW Quodlibet, Totem (gstreamer), Xine, and Audacity all work fine. I'd like my sounds back, TYVM. -- Steven Usdansky Registered Linux user #360200 ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
