Before I turned on that setting http://localhost:631 didn't give my anything, and now it does even with allow remote admin unchecked. I had even rebooted a couple of times. chkconfig --list | grep cup cups 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off Thanks for the help on this.
