What repos should I enable _now_ to upgrade to what's in the latest

Enable fedora and updates-released. Make sure you're using the mirror
list and it'll point you to the correct repos. This will "pin" you to
Fedora 8, and once it's released it will keep you getting F8 updates.
As I mentioned to Rahul, I've not changed the config files since I
installed, they're standard.
I don't have an updates-released, though I do have updates and
update-testing:
[root@potoroo ~]# egrep -i '^(\[|enabled=)' /etc/yum.repos.d/* | grep
-B1 enabled
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:[development]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:[development-debuginfo]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:[development-source]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:[updates-testing]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:[updates-testing-debuginfo]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:[updates-testing-source]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:[updates]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=1
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:[updates-debuginfo]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:[updates-source]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:[fedora]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:enabled=1
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:[fedora-debuginfo]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:enabled=0
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:[fedora-source]
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo:enabled=0
[root@potoroo ~]#
As you can see, updates is enabled.
Unfortunately:
[root@potoroo ~]# yum --enable=updates-testing list available
Loading "refresh-updatesd" plugin
removing mirrorlist with no valid mirrors:
//var/cache/yum/updates-testing/mirrorlist.txt
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository:
updates-testing. Please verify its path and try again
[root@potoroo ~]#
I've tried "yum clean {metadata, dbcache}" to no avail.
