Yeah.... Thats what the 2nd guy is mentioning/complaining about.
That at the most inconvinient time... that damn daemon is running
preventing him from running yum manually.  I think that happened to
me too, when I first installed FC7 (for testing).  It ticked _me_
off too!  The trouble with waiting is... you don't know how long to
wait.  So I just killed it. Happyness... I could then run yum whenever
I wanted to.
